HAPPY TALES

Amandine

AMANDINE

AMANDINE was born in 1988 and she was our first rescue.

Amandine was a riding school pony for all her adult life.

When she became too old, Amandine was sold to the meat man.

After years of loyal service she did not deserve to be thrown on the scrapheap!

AMANDINE - Retirement

After a short stop at Pegasus Sanctuary, we colleted Amandine with her friend Dolia who came from the same riding school.

After a lot of love and pampering, Amandine settled into her new home quickly.

We promised her that Happy Tales would be her last home.

Amandine passed away in February 2021 from a heart attack at the age of 33, nearly 2 years after her arrival.

Her legacy was to show us that we were able to rescue horses and give them a better life.

Rest in peace Amandine and thank you for showing us our purpose.
