CHOUCHOU was born in 2008. When we arrived at Pegasus Sanctuary we couldn't leave her there and were confident we could give her a better life.
She was in a terrible state as she had been living alone for months after her owner died.
The family had neglected her and decided to sell her to the meat man but fortunately Pegasus managed to rescue her before that happened.
CHOUCHOU - A better life
After a timid start, she is such a joy; adorable, cheeky, cuddly and stubborn in equal measure and very much adored.
Small by size compared to the giant trotters, she's an agile little girl and will kick the big ones if they come too close.
Just ike a teddy bear, you can cuddle ChouChou for hours which she adores!
